Wild Watermelony Art from the Wild Geniuses on my CT

I would like to say when I’m composing a kit I get lost in fields of striped lollypops and sit against trees sprouting sweet smelling muffins with lots of berries and lemon frosting. But the sweet reality of my creative effort is my CT and their art. They motivate my brain and heart. I am always provoked into action by their images. They are inspiration machines. Here are some of my favorite masterpieces they created with Wild Watermelon.

The Wild Watermelon Party is in my store

Hey, my steamy summer kit The Wild Watermelon Party is in my store now. TaDa!! It's soo splashy. And - it's on sale 20% off for the next two days too. Yay - slip n' sliding towards my lemonade.

A wild watermelony summer

Eeeeeeek I have shamelessly abandoned my blog for far too long. Summer has been keeping me pretty busy – mostly with my new kit The Wild Watermelon Party. It is a very summery collection and should be in my store next week. Here’s a sneak peek.

I haven’t done a lot of fun stuff yet this summer but I did perform in an air band last week, I have free tickets to a Soundgarden concert later this summer (jumping for joy), and I did enter an arm wrestling contest on the 4th of July. Here is me a few seconds before Cynthia cranked my arm down. (sigh) I’m usually a formidable opponent but ……… Pride goeth before the fall.

I hope everyone is having the best summer ever. I’ll be back soon.

And the winners are.......

Ohhhhhhhhhh thank you, thank you, thank you everyone for all the hard work and creativity that went into these wonderful layouts for the Fabulous Fantasy Layout Contest. It was the brightest spot of every day this past week peeking into the gallery and seeing the new entries.

It was really really hard picking one favorite fantastic masterpiece out of sooooooooo many. But today I did.

So, without further preamble, the prize for my favorite fantasy layout goes to Holstarr for Violet, Don’t be Late! This was a truly fantastic illustration that set my brain spinning into so many different story directions.

My Creative Team was all over the map with their favorites. There were several ties so I cast the breaking vote. The CT pick for most fabulous layout is awarded to Mandihy for this magical layout of her daughter as a fairy butterfly catcher.

For the random pick I collected all the entries and my DH pointed to this winner blindolded (there probably could have been an easier way to do this but I couldn’t think of it). The winner is: Rzoe for Álomvilág 4

Congratulations everyone. And thank you all so much for your beautiful inspired artworks.

If the winners will please send me their emails (reddoodler@gmail.com) I will send you your coupons.

Win Fame and Fortune

Also, I am having a Fabulous Fantasy Layout Contest. If you want to play: create a new (fabulous) fantasy layout using any of my kits and place it (or them) in my gallery at SBG. You can start now. The contest ends June 4 Saturday midnight (MST) I will announce the 3 winners here (fame) Sunday and award each winner a $35 Studio Lorie coupon (fortune.) I will pick the most fantastical layout for the first prize. Another prize winner will be selected by the Lorie’s Lounge Creative Team, and the third prize will be randomly selected from all the entries.

Chit chat Tuesday

I will be the Royal Chat Sponsor Girl Tuesday. So come by Tuesday night (9PM EST) and we can chat about anything. Am I the only person who loves chats but thinks they are completely scary because you have to read and type sooooooooooo fast while at the same time making noises and trying to get those little banana people to dance and stuff? Warning: There will be prizes.
