My holiday blinkie from Joelle

Joelle's blinkies are forever. My store however, contrary to what it says at the bottom of Joelle's blinkie, is now at Oscraps. (I didn't want to change anything cus it would sort of be like fidgeting with a Vermeer.)

Annie the Alligatorfersaurous

This horrible alligatorfersaurous popped out over the weekend and I had to show her off. I modeled her after my pup Annie who looks just like this in the morning before she gets her breakfast.
At SBG we're finishing the Desert Racer collab this week. (It's a beaut and comes out  August 4) I'm joining Peggy on this next  SBG collab also and I'm working on a freebie due Tuesday for the SBG 10th Anniversary Scraptacular. No rest for the wicked.  Soooo it looks like another week or so before I can put the finishing touches on my sea voyage.

A Perillous Preview

Here's a little preview of the kit I’m working on now. The second version has the "subtle sea light background overlay4" laid over the top.  BTW this is not going to be the name of the kit but Cealio is the name of my imaginary pet sea lion. I know if I met a sea lion we would be friends. When I told Tim this he immediately sent me youtube movies of sea lion attacks.  I don’t care.

I really do dream about sailing all the time, even though I’ve never done it.  My hands are already calloused from climbing the rope to my office so climbing yardarms, or whatever, should not be a problem.  I’m putting my ocean dreams in here.

Oh, and that is the Olde English way of spelling “perilous.”  I’m still working on this kit and trying to think of a good name.  My predictions are always perilously incorrect but I’m thinking I will get this finished next week. Or sooner.

Strolling up the Goose Creek Trail

Yesterday we went on a little hike up the Goose Creek trail to Brundage Falls, a few miles from my house. The huckleberries are not quite ready for picking though I did eat one that was almost blue and it was heavenly. Annie my corgi/blue healer has just recovered from a dislocated shoulder so Tim and I took our time and stopped to take a lot of pictures and smell lots of  flowers. Below are some of my favorite flowers.

The reflection on this muddy little pond made this picture look almost like a watercolor.
