My holiday blinkie from Joelle

Joelle's blinkies are forever. My store however, contrary to what it says at the bottom of Joelle's blinkie, is now at Oscraps. (I didn't want to change anything cus it would sort of be like fidgeting with a Vermeer.)

A Hazardous Journey

Escaped last Thursday to hike to Hazard Lake. There’s no cure for the computer chair sore bottom syndrome better than trekking to some place in the mountains. I hope I can do this every week. Hazard Lake was not any more hazardous than any of the other lakes we saw - the chief hazard being they were turn-you-blue-instantly freezing cold.

This itsy bitsy lake was the perfect fit for Clementine’s Golden Retrievers. They look like Golden Alligators.

Now I’m back making more monsters. I am working on a Red Cheetah-bellied Bookskeezer tonight.

I'm really looking forward to this kit! I love cute monsters and such. Sully in Monsters, Inc. has been a favorite character of mine. This should be a wonderfully fun kit to use!

I called the local historian to see if he knew how Hazard Lake got its name. He had no idea. It looked slightly less hazardous then the other lakes we visited. The Nez Perce lived here for many years, maybe it means something in their language.

Wow I wish I had a backyard like both yourself and Clem! Looks so amazingly beautiful. Although down here in Tasmania there is a lot of gorgeousness to look at, I just have to peel myself away from the computer here and there. LOL!

Oh my, what a nature! This must be so wonderful. Our country is so little that it's packed with cities and roads, almost no room for forest.
