My holiday blinkie from Joelle

Joelle's blinkies are forever. My store however, contrary to what it says at the bottom of Joelle's blinkie, is now at Oscraps. (I didn't want to change anything cus it would sort of be like fidgeting with a Vermeer.)

Let Go Annie!

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!   Stop it you are destroying my volley ball!!!
Annie is a flying monster when she wants a toy like my deflated volley ball. She's worse with cows. She's a brown ankle-nibbling rocket when range cows break into our yard.  They try to kick her but she's so short their hooves go flying two feet over her head. She's the best cow dog ever.

I'm so jealous of the open space you live in!!! Fantastic photo of you and your Annie.

Thank you Henriette. There are some distinct disadvantages to living in the middle of nowhere. In the background of this picture Annie almost got into a fight with a bobcat last night. Tim was with her so the bobcat went running. If Tim hadn't been there Annie could have ended up catfood.

ohhhh dear, and even though I am against guns, I can see the point of owning one where you are. God forbid something had happened. Love the pic of you, so carefree and yes, henriette is right: I am jealous too of where you live.

Thank you Sabina. There are lots of potential puppy eaters around here. There's always the bears - who tore our plum tree apart this year. Who also, to be fair, do a good job of stirring the compost looking for goodies. (They also eat the horrible ground hornets' nests.) The local cougar is mostly shy but we saw her chasing something while we were swimming in the river below our house last summer. Lately we've also seen a couple wolves. I'm hoping soon we'll be hearing them sing since, being one of the wolves favorite snacks, the coyotes have pretty much stopped their starlight serenades.
