It was a frenzied summer. Most of the fires around here have been put out or calmed down so I’m spending as much time in the woods as I can.  Here’s me and Zookie chilling on the beach at Breakfast Lake. Congratulations if you can find Zookie, she blends right in with the early autumn golds.

Our Place - my new mini-kit

Hey! I just finished this little mini-kit with deer & blue birds & blossoms & backgrounds. The animal families who's homes are hidden around our place here were my inspiration for Our Place. The blue birds and blue jays are busy building their nests right now. I leave scraps of fabrics out for them which they pick through and fly away with to create really cushy and colorful homes. Has there ever been a better time to let your muse loose, lock yourself in your room, and make masterpieces?
