My holiday blinkie from Joelle

Joelle's blinkies are forever. My store however, contrary to what it says at the bottom of Joelle's blinkie, is now at Oscraps. (I didn't want to change anything cus it would sort of be like fidgeting with a Vermeer.)

Oh what a beautiful morning

I caught the sun doing some lovely things to the snow and ice this morning.

Today I am working on word art and the previews for Falling Leaves, Autumn Tea. I should have it in Studio Lorie Monday.

I can never decide whether I love fall or winter better...Every year, when the leaves start changing colour and you get that wonderful smell in the air, I decide it's fall - then winter arrives in all its glory and majesty and I always change my mind! Here on Vancouver Island, it rains all winter long...:( I miss living in a place where winter actually means snow!! Beautiful, beautiful photos - I so enjoyed them! :)

I'm like you Julie but fall I love from start to finish - winter, after the mud starts poking up through the snow in March, I get tired of.

aahhh ... your landscape looks much like mine (Northern Ontario, Canada). Although I'm not a big fan of the cold, I do love the sprinkling of snow and ice along the foliage and the crinkle of the ice under my feet. Can't wait to pick up the new kit, it looks amazing. I say that about every kit, but it's true! LOL

Your pictures are simply stunning. It is hot and humid here and we have had the air conditioning on for part of the day. (I'm in Australia). Funnily my daughter still learnt to sing Jingle Bells at Kindy last week. Can I bring the family to your place for Christmas??

I would learn to love winter over there.

Lorie, where were these pictures taken and what kind of camera do you use? You have a wonderful eye!
I suffer with chronic pain and I can't leave my house very often. I travel through other people's pictures. I was wondering if I could use your photos on my layout as stock pictures for snow. It doesn't snow very often in Louisiana, so I don't have any pics like this. I may post one or 2 layouts for snow, but of course I will list you as the eye that snapped those beautiful shots,if you will permit me to.

Yes you can all come to visit me in Fruitvale and we can make snow angels in the yard!! I am hoping to see Louisiana for the first time later this winter as we have a friend that lives in Sulfur who we need to visit. My DH says it is one of the most beautiful places he has ever been to. Yes you can use my pictures Scarlet. These were taken in my yard with my Nikon D40.
